da heads bet: Let’s face it – despite successfully wowing fans of the English top-flight from across the board last season – Eden Hazard has ultimately endured a campaign to forget so far this term, much like the rest of his Chelsea teammates with all things considered.
da brwin: The Belgian international has notoriously failed to score a single goal in any competition this season, marking him down as one of the biggest disappointments of the entire campaign. Regardless of everything else that has gone wrong down at Stamford Bridge this term, there can simply be no excuses for Hazard’s clear lack of output in front of the Blues faithful.
So then, as the 25-year-old play-marker currently remains side-lined with a testing groin concern picked up against Crystal Palace in recent weeks – does Eden Hazard still really deserve the backing of the Chelsea fans, or has the once untouchable midfielder ultimately come to the end of the road at Stamford Bridge?
As several of Europe’s most elite clubs – including none other than Real Madrid themselves – have reportedly been keeping a close eye on Hazard’s downturn in the Premier League this season, perhaps Blues supporters won’t have to witness the player in question at their club for much longer.

The out of sorts Belgian international obviously isn’t a ‘bad player’ by any stretch of the imagination, but as he has somehow failed to score a single goal all season for Chelsea, maybe something has to change sooner rather than later.
Although the quick-footed attacker would once dazzle opposing defenders with his pure trickery and ability to make things happen inside the final third, it seems fair to suggest that Eden Hazard has simply been found out somewhat this term.
His habit of going to ground all too easily has come back to bite him this time around, leaving many football fans less than sympathetic towards his current plight.
Chelsea should arguably look to recoup as much cash as possible for the struggling Belgian this summer, as although most of the Stamford Bridge faithful couldn’t stop singing his praises throughout the course of last season, Eden Hazard arguably doesn’t represent an out-in-out world class talent with everything taken into account.
However, it is in times like these where the fans truly can make a difference. The entire season may have to be written off in terms of getting the best out of Hazard himself, but if the Stamford Bridge faithful really want to witness a resurgence in their former hero in future campaigns, then Chelsea fans simply must back their struggling no. 10 for better or worse this term.

Eden Hazard could easily begin to take the Premier League by storm once again with the unreserved backing of the crowd behind him. Yes, Blues supporters have every right to criticise the Belgian for his utterly disappointing form this term, yet a consistently negative attitude probably won’t help the situation change a great deal.
If Chelsea fans truly believe that Hazard has what it takes to rediscover his scoring boots and dazzle the Stamford Bridge faithful once again this season, then now is the time to show it. The 25-year-old play-maker will be met with the perfect opportunity to prove himself once more upon returning from his most recent injury, and now that Jose Mourinho has eventually been cast aside at Chelsea, Eden Hazard could potentially begin to operate with a greater sense of freedom and expression in his overall game.
But if the majority of Blues supporters have ultimately seen enough of their luckless no. 10 this term however, then Real Madrid will seemingly be waiting in the summer with an illustrious escape route on offer for Hazard one way or another.
